Veteran game designer and Boss Key founder Cliff Bleszinski announced via Twitter that his studio will be closing its doors today.
He explains how the studio kicked things off with Lawbreakers which he believed truly was a great game, however it failed to gain any kind of traction. As a last ditch effort his team tried to throw together their quickest and best attempt at a battle royale genre title with Radical Heights, however it was too late at the game and didn’t offer enough to gain a sustainable player base.
Once again Bleszinski plans to exit the industry, perhaps someday returning to give it another shot.
As to the future of Lawbreakers and Radical Heights? Well the Radical Heights servers will stay up for the time being, however they didn’t share any information relating to Lawbreakers. It’s safe to assume eventually both games will have their servers go down.
