Originally announced back in 2016, it appears the Monster Hunter movie under the helm of Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil film series), will soon be well underway. This is perhaps thanks to the success of Monster Hunter: World, which introduced the series to a much wider audience.
While the existence of the movie is no surprise, there was some fresh news that arrived relating to the film in that it will feature Milla Jovovich starring as a primary role. You could say this isn’t terribly surprising either I suppose considering her history with Paul W.S. Anderson and the Resident Evil film series.
The $60 million dollar project is set to go into production this September, shooting in and around Cape Town, South Africa.
