Continuing with the exciting Oculus news is Rift Core 2.0, a major update overhauling the dashboard UI of the Oculus Home software.
One of the most exciting new features is the ability to use multiple virtual display windows to browse your desktop and any apps on it with Oculus Dash.
Similar to SteamVR Home, Oculus will be getting its own variant of that as well with the update. This gives players their own virtual living space they can fill up with furniture, toys achievement trophies, and more. Your game library even appears physically as a collecting of game cartridges that can be used to load into whatever game you’d like to play.
The update is planned to roll out this December so stay tuned.
